Discover "Sand Land": A New Adventure From Akira Toriyama's Universe

Following an official confirmation by Bandai Namco, the new action role-play game Sand Land, inspired by Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball manga series, is slated to launch this April. Gamers can anticipate the title's release across a multitude of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, on April 26.

Charismatic characters from the manga series, such as Beelzebub, Thief, and Rao, will embark on an exciting journey to find the Legendary Spring to arrest the global water shortage in the game's main plot. Whether you're acquainted with the manga series or not, the game promises to retain the unique artistic flair of Toriyama’s work. ILCA, the creator behind One Piece Odyssey, is managing the development while Bandai Namco Entertainment is taking up publishing duties.

Recently released details in a PlayStation blog post on January 11 curate an in-depth look into the vehicles available in the new game, namely the Hovercar and Hovertank. Players can expect the Hovercar to be ideal for navigating tough terrains, while the combat-ready Hovertank is equipped for more aggressive gameplay with its powerful long-range weapons. Moreover, players can personalize their vehicles with various engines, suspensions, and secondary weapons. Players can also alter the appearance of the vehicles with skins and decals. Pre-order bonuses include three camouflage vehicle skins.

Pre-orders for Sand Land are available now, and those interested can choose from the standard copy or the higher-tiered Deluxe and Collector’s editions. The Deluxe edition is priced at $69.99/£69.99 and offers additional downloadable content. For fans willing to splurge, the Collector’s edition is available at $129.99 / €139.99 in the Bandai Namco Store, providing exclusive additional perks. So, if you are on the prowl for some engaging gaming experience, keep an eye out for Sand Land!
