Volition Closure Doesn't Mark the End for Saints Row and Red Faction

Last week, we informed you about the closure of Volition, the decades-long developer of Saints Row and Red Faction. This 30-year-old developer's closure was undoubtedly distressing, and fans were left speculating about the future of their beloved IPs. 

A recent tweet from Deep Silver has now clarified that neither Saints Row nor Red Faction will be completely vanishing. As per the tweet, both IPs will continue under the umbrella of PLAION. Even though we don't anticipate hearing news about them in the near future, at least we know they are not permanently sidelined. 

The latest installment of Saints Row received a mediocre response. However, we hope that future games might bring back the distinct qualities that made the series so popular.
